☁️ ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to popular demand…
I'll write more on how to land your dream startup role.
- standing out with limited experience
- getting attention from founders (and responses to your job apps)
- job searching most effectively
As the first PM at a Series-C startup whose worked at dozens of startups (and founded my own), I know how to impress startup founders enough to work at one.
The truth is most founders only care about the companies on your resume so much.
At the end of the day, the variables that you can control are
1) getting your awesome self front of founders
2) telling a relevant story that startups actually care about
3) the projects you built
Building Magnify Wellness taught me more in 3 mon than most learn in 3 years.
It also was living proof to founders I'm a good fit for their company. See my story below!
In this webinar, you will learn how to:
- Impress startup founders (and land interviews)
- Brand yourself as the perfect candidate for a startup
- Execute the most effective job search

✨ MY STORY
🤫 how my mental health resource database helped me land a startup job
it’s not that hard...
One of the easiest ways to gain recognition is to build something that helps others.
But not everyone likes or wants to spend time coding.
Before I became the CEO of Magnify Wellness,
I co-founded the largest website of mental health resources.
Compiled links to podcasts, support groups, articles, affordable therapists, etc.
All vetted by a professor from Stanford School of Medicine.
Other students willingly volunteered to help find these resources, naturally forming a group of passionate youth mental health activists dubbed the “Mental Health Changemakers”.
In college, I also built a database containing 100k+ disability facts and statistics to educate Computer Science students on digital accessibility knowledge, achieving the title of graduating with honors.
And now, others are already doing the same on Linkedin and GitHub.
This Tesla engineer built a spreadsheet with job ads posted by hiring managers.
This AI company built a spreadsheet with up-to-date internship listings.
This GitHub repo of companies not requiring leetcode style interviews
Why not do the same? 🙂
Pick a problem you’re passionate about
Find collaborators to contribute to the database
Share it online → expand your reach by asking others to repost to get access
Give it a title and add it to your resume as “Creator / Co-Founder”
…..Want help telling its story? I break it down at the webinar 😉
Its a win-win, you help others and also your personal brand’s validity increases exponentially. ✨

What motivated you to start building an audience online? Personal branding takes time, but I know a strong social media presence is something I can always use as invaluable career leverage. Whether I'm promoting something, hiring, or just connecting, having a community is a huge motivator for me.
How do you personally balance being an introvert and an entrepreneur? I focus on what energizes me. If creating content drains me, I won’t force it—even if it’s helpful. Even if it takes longer like admin work, I stay motivated because I love it.
What is advice you would tell your younger self? I used to feel a lot of imposter syndrome writing on LinkedIn, questioning if I knew enough or was ready to give advice as a junior engineer. But I learned that imposter syndrome doesn’t make you an imposter — it means you’re being challenged. Helping someone else is a powerful place to be in, and there’s always someone out there who wants to learn from you.
